Like a bug on a windshield!
I use ICE and don't wipe it off the front grill after applying it then I use a $150 husky pressure washer to take them off. They come off with no scrubbing at all.
It also helps a lot if you pre-soak the nose for 10 minutes prior to the pressure washer treatment.

I use tar and bug remover. Then I use the car wash soap on it with a mit. Then I rinse it off. Hope that makes sense. I tried just the tar and bug remover and rubbing it, didn't work. I had to use soap.

Whassup with the freakin bugs?
I have never owned a car that caught so many bugs on the windshield and on the grill.
Anyonme have or heard of anything that helps to make it easy to take off or keep them from sticking so badly? I keep it waxed pretty good so the body bugs come off ok, but the windshield bugs take a ton of elbow grease to get compltetely clean.
Thanks.

i hate having my windshield covered in bugs, maybe not as bad as some of your bug problems but i can get some real beefy bugs onto my windshield. i soak the bug areas with like a warm water and then wash it with a sponge and soap, then i go at them with a small, little bristle scrub brush, like you would a shower i guess, so far no scratches i hope it won't scratch because it takes the bugs right off of the plastic bumper, grille and pretty good on the windshield too but i don't know it works for me.
