Mine came with special boltsy that fit through the roolbar. They have a round plastic head on them so you need no tools to tighten.

Yeah that’s for the door surrounds I have that part down. I'm talking about the back bracket that attaches to the roll bar. Where the tops pivot point is.

OK,,,sorry...Yes there is 2 torx bolt that hold each bracket to the rollbar. Just put them on yesterday. Put my soft top on yesterday for the first time.

a) I did not receive velcro straps to hold the sunrider in place. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, did the dealership help you get them?

2) I did not receive elastic straps either, to fold up the rear window. Anyone else have to get these from the dealership?

d) I have read on here about people removing the clips that the hard top torx screws actually screw into. How do these come out?

I appreciate the help
Bought mine 2nd hand and didnt get the straps , i just found them new on ebay, rear window and the 2 sunrider... 24 bucks for all shipped the velcro we less than $5

Problem is the "nut" the hard top bolts into is in the way.

What other options does everyone use?
I'd like to see a response to this as well.

I guess, based on this post, I just need to keep trying to pop out the bolt hardware.

I have the same question... And I have not seen it addressed yet in this. The instructions show using the velcro strap to secure the frame to the body of the jeep. It appears as if you are suposed to run the straps through the opening for the hard top bolts. But the threaded plate is there. Can that plate be removed, or is there another way that the strap is supposed to be secured to the body? HELP!

I too had this problem...

couldn't find an answer, then I got an answer from someone another site.
Since I cannot locate the original response, I'll try and paraphrase...
the silver thread inside the tub can be removed by pushing down from the top into the hole, all the while placing pressure in the middle inside between the two outer clips.

Doing this, the first one came off easy, while the passenger side seemed to need a lot more work.

I hope this makes sense, I know pictures would make this a much easier process but I am a newbie.
