Manual windows are tolerable, but having manual locks, especially with kids sucks big time!

It's not a big deal to me. Less electrical $hit to break later on down the road.

I absolutely love mine and even had them in my last full-sized truck. I'm not a big "automated" person though, so to each their own.
Funny thing, the other day I went to pick up my buddy's daughter, who is 14, and who'd never been in my Jeep. Her first comment was, she didn't know they made cars (yes, she said "cars") with manual locks and windows and then she asked, "what's the thing I'm moving forward and backward? (the gear shifter - it's a 6-speed). I busted out laughing and told her she lives a sheltered life! Poor girl wouldn't make it without modern conveniences! Probably doesn't even know why people don't load their shopping bags in the front trunk!! LOL!!

Haha I do the same! Right when I get it, and locks are a pain in the ass because people who dont know always leave it unlocked but I don't keep anything valuable in it, and yes doors are way lighter!

Is this the pretend I'm ok with being poor thread? I kid I kid. I have power, had manual in a car in high school, hated it. In a 4 door it would especially suck to have all that extra soft top flapping on the highway when you're riding with the front window down and you can't roll down your back windows.

Took some getting used to with my 4 door, just a little pita when your already driving but i like when someone gets in and is like holy sh** whats this??? Lol. It just seems like a lazy factor with anyone else but like i said with the 4 door its a little strange, and i usually forget to lock the rear up

Locked mine up once in richmond and haven't locked it since. Fiancée's son understands the term "roll the window down" now. Less power stuff to worry about the better imo.

BTW, the TPMS won't be compatible between the '10 and '13. So switching the tires means swapping sensors, too, unless you get a Procal or something.

Seriously?! We are talking about a jeep!! None of that matters when you have the doors off! But it sounds like none of you want that. Sounds like you want more of a prissy SUV. That's why they make hummers!
