i am installing a Rubicon 44 front under my jeep, I am re gearing the axle (getting it done) the shop said they think the locker does not work. How could I test it before it is installed back in the axle?

The small plug (1) is used to engage the locker. The large plug (2) is used to indicate the status of the locker.
You could wire it up on the floor and see if it engages. Use the wiring diagram below. Switch is the small plug (1) and actuator is the big plug (2). The switch is an OTRATTW.
