Bone stock 2015 Rubicon, what are the best shocks? Tires are starting to cup, wanting to do tires and shocks at the same time.

Type of shock (mono or twin tube) is determined by type of driving you do most. I personally went with Mono Shock for better street handling. Right now I have Monroe Reflex. Twin Tube is mostly for truck, off road and high performance baha type of stuff.

Whatever you buy try and find 100% double acting hydraulic ones which are hard to find. Gas shocks ride like a buckboard - ALL OF THEM.

IMO given the use, the Stock Rubicon shock would be my 1st choice.. Check for take offs when a Lift was installed. Ask around at Jeep Accessory shops/Upfitters for take offs... Just M OPN

Thanks for the info. Mainly highway driving, some dirt and gravel. No plans for trails or rocks. I have found the Monroe Reflex, and I also read that the Rancho RS7MT was a good choice. But are the Rancho's worth the extra $$? There's about a $75-80 difference in the price for a full set of 4.

Those look like nice shocks. Good Reviews. Fairly new. You will never know till you put them on. I've put shocks on my Jeep and they only lasted 2 years for what it's worth. I'd keep the old Rubicon shocks if I was you. Or at least take pictures of them. You will notice a difference. I replaced my original Rubicon shocks only because they we're dirty and corroded but we're still functionally good.

FYI.. Tire Cupping can also occur due to lack of rotations. IMO if the OEM Rubicon Shocks were good for 7+ years I'd seriously look for them again.. Check any Off Road Accesssory installer for take offs when they sell and install Lifts.
