Default Lost the Airconditioning and heat ..

I was leaving gun range this morning and heat and AC wouldn't come on. I dunno what is wrong with it. Just reset computer and now I cannot get any buttons to light up on the front of the ac panel. I guess I will take off work and take it to dealership tomorrow. Any ideas... I can try tonight.

Are you saying the fan won't blow air out the vents?

I don't get anything out of the vents. Fan isn't coming on like you are saying.

From the FSM:

NOTE: The blower motor is supplied with a 12V feed from the TIPM, through the blower motor resistor, whenever the ignition switch is in the RUN position. Due to an open circuit condition within the blower motor control switch the TIPM is UNABLE to detect an OPEN circuit for the blower motor.

Possible causes of an inoperative blower motor include:

Open fuse
Inoperative blower motor resistor
Inoperative blower motor switch
Inoperative blower motor
Inoperative blower motor circuit wiring or wire harness connectors

Something like that heppened to the wifes 07 unlimited about 2 years ago.
As I was driving home from a store, I turned on the AC, and nothing, tried all the different settings and still nothing. Got home and tried to pull a code. Nothing. Let the JK sit for about 20 minutes, then started it up again. Still nothing. Pulled the negative cable and let sit for about 20 minutes. After re-installing the cable, started the JK up and tried the AC. Everything was normal. As I said, that happened about 2 years ago, and it hasn't happened since.

That does seem to work for a lot of the computer glitches on the JK.
However, I can't find any evidence the HVAC blower motor is computer controlled. Looking at the wiring diagram, it appears the motor gets power directly from the fuse box (TIPM), and the rotary switch directs the ground through various combinations of resisters to control motor speed.

It happened before to mine and about 5 miles down the road it cut on. This was back in October. I dunno what going on with it. I'm gonna take it to dealership in an hour. It needs tires rotated anyway. I did pull the positive cable off and turn on the head lights to try to reset computer. Hopefully the can fix the ticken noise the airconditioner was making. Thanks again guys.
