Default Lost Bow Screw

So I was just outside taking the top off and I fold it back to the sunrider position and and realized I lost one of the screws that connects the two bows to the metal bracket where it meets the sunrider latches. Does anyone have any idea what size screw this is or where I can get an easy replacement? The only way I can think that it fell out was that it got shaken lose when I had the top in the sunrider position last week, but I think I would have noticed it missing when I put the top back up. Found the picture below in case there's any confusion:

Try this part number. I think it is the same screw that attaches the top to the bracket on the roll bar for a 2 dr. 6503259 Hope that helps.

I think you're going to need to order this from Jeep. If I'm thinking of the correct screw, then take one of the other ones you have out and you'll see what I mean. It appears to be a 5 mm x 1.0 threaded screw with a T30 Torx head. Take that thread measurement with a grain of salt because there's only about 1/4" of exposed thread (making taking a measurement with the gauges I have iffy, at best). After that there is about 3/8" of non-threaded, enlarged shaft around which the bow rotates. That's why I suggest going to the dealership.

As an alternative, you may be able to find the right size screw, then add a small piece of stand-off (used in electronics to raise circuit cards above a chassis with a screw run through it). The stand-off will serve to prevent damage from the threads to the internal part of your bow.

If this is about as clear as mud, just take another one off and I think you'll quickly figure out what I'm trying to say.

Its called a shoulder bolt. I lost one as well, tried and tried to fab one up with no luck. Your best bet is to go to a dealers parts counter and get the right one. While you're at it, check all the others. Mine were all loose. I put a dab of blue loctite on them just because

Thanks for the replies everyone, and thanks for the links tkob, I did a search but didn't see those. Looks like some other people have had the same problem. I'm just going to try to ghetto rig it until I can stop by the dealership and get a replacement.

I have a friend that lost all 4 that attach his soft top to the brackets during the winter when he had the hard top on. He found quick disconnects on ebay for 7 dollars I think. You could always go that route and use the bolts you take out to replace the one you lost on top.

Any time I've misplaced a factory screw................ I go to the factory (Dealership) and they usually have it in stock or within one day.
