The sunrider is way better than the freedom top panels. Not need to store anything, ect

Better visibility out of the back window

Feels more like a Jeep with the soft top on

Doesn't leak

I'm dreading the day I have to put the hard top back on but I am going to enjoy every minute of this soft top...
Yeah it's great until someone uses a knife to slice through and steal your stuff. I'll take the security of a hard top any day.

I keep no valuables in my ride. Plus, my town ranks in the top 5 safest towns in the country every year. If the soft top is knifed, I can always fall back on the hard top until I get my new soft top.

I dont think the hardtop weighs too much it is just so awkward that it really cant be lifted by one person. I have only owned a hardtop and I like it very much but at the same top I love having the whole top off! So a soft top seems more practical more me but I do like the security of the hard top as well as my anti-tailgating device that come only with the hardtop!

I love the quietness and extra warmth of the hard top, but do like the large opening of the soft. I might not bother with the soft top this summer.

I love both tops. Just put my soft top back on today. It was wonderful. I always look forward to taking the doors off and the top down. I also love the hard top. The security is nice as well as the quietness and warmth. I love the hardtop for winter and the freedom panels are great for the occasionally unseasonly warm day. Soft for the summer all the way.

The hard top is more aerodynamic. The Jeep MAY be quicker off the line with the soft; but at speed it will eat up a tiny bit more fuel, and possibly slow you down.

This is my first Wrangler and it has a hardtop. I test drove a '04 2 dr. Unlimited with a soft top and the wind noise was bad. My hardtop is very quiet. Then I took the top and doors off for a couple of months last year. Talk about noise! I like the convenience of a soft top, but I don't think I'd spend the bucks to get one. It's too damn hot in Texas in the summer to not use the AC, so the hardtop stays on most of the time.
