Default Lowering the front windshield

I know this thread has got to be somewhere but I can't find it. My question is, how is the windshield properly secured when it is lowered to the hood???

there was a strap in my glove-box that matched my vehicle's color.

strap the windshield down with the hoop above the rearview mirror on the inside down on to the hood-handle in the center between the two rubber stops.

hope that helped.

i did not have a strap... rope works fine... at the speeds you should be driving... all you need is something to keep it from bouncing up and down... dont go 100 mph with the windshield down... just my .02

i guess so... the strap is black , but so is my jeep, and most straps are black, generally speaking.

I did get the four straps for the top, I got the impression from the previous post that there was another for the windshield specifically. Guess I'm not getting screwed by the stealer.

What happens to the wipers when the windshield is folded down? They look like they would be in the way. Do they have to be removed?
