Can somebody tell me what is the best quality transmission fluid for my Jk. It's an automatic. Money not a factor.

Also would like to know how to do a full fluid flush out. Can this only be done by dealer?

You can do it, not hard at all. Google "jk automatic transmission fluid change". Should take you right to a few nice write ups I'm getting ready to do my manual fluid change here for first time in about a 1000 miles

If money is no option go to the dealer and get a full system flush its the only way to get all of the fluid out. You can drain it your self and put some royal purple or something in there(that's what I did) very easy to do but you will only be getting about 2/3s of the oil out.

I have the unlimited power train warranty so when I change my oil I went to the dealer and got the oil and filter.

I had the same intention, figuring the dealer would keep records. No such luck. The dealer in my area does not link any parts purchases to your specific vehicle, so I can just as easily buy and parts or fluids from anywhere. I just keep the receipts and a log book for maintenance.

You can go to a quick lube or something like that and have it flushed . Had mine done about 3 months ago . Transmission front and fear diff and transfer case . For about 350.00 .

The front and rear diffs are easier to do than an oil change since we have drain plugs. $350 seems way overpriced.
