Default manual clutch fluid gone?

ok iwent to work in the morning and the clutch pedal was way down to the floor to engage so i parked it at work 8-10 hrs later tried to go home and there was nothing there i pressed the clutch all the way down and only a few inches to engage at the bottom of the pedal being depressed when normally you press the pedal and the whole range of motion from top to botom is what engages the clutch... could the hose have come loose at the bottom or whereever it goes?.....any ideas?
or is this a tell tale sign of the clutch itself going? i've driven cars for years that were stick shift and have never needed a new clutch..including my old 97 jeep wrangler sport which i beat the snot out of it...and my 2004 corolla which has well over 100,000 miles on it. i did own a cheap kia rio for commuting that i purchased new and after 2 clutches that went bad in a year and it going a third time i turned it in and figured just crappy korean junk..

I had a similar issue on a '96 F-150, that was a failed clutch master cylinder, similar issue on '98 F-150, it was the clutch slave cylinder.
I buy jeeps now.

My neighbors slave cylinder went out in his 08 Rubicon at 3,000 miles.

Warranty covered it and the towing cost. I'd insist on the same.

Even someone who does not know how to drive a manual transmission correctly cannot do anything wrong that would cause the slave or master cylinder to fail. This is a warranty repair and you need to insist on it.

That is your bumper to bumper warranty 3 yrs 36,000miles?

Is your powetrain warranty 5 years 70,000miles? This issue would fall under the powertrain as your Jeep is not driveable.

If I had this issue my dealership that I take our Jeep, Dodge ram and Magnum would place this under powertrain warranty.

I would try going up the chain of command to see if you can get it covered. The general manager shouldn't mind eating $350 to keep a customer happy (and coming back later to buy again).
