Manual VS Automatic
I want to get the Rubi with a manual tranny but the wifey can't drive a stick.
What if I got a Rubi with an auto tranny and put in a chip or bulldog system in it to make shifting and what not better. Would the auto be a better choice.

Teach her, thats what i did. Never had an auto vehicle, wasn't going to start with the Jeep!
I purchased a Jeep two weeks ago and faced this same question. I chose manual because it I like them and you have more control.
I also got it for hill start and because manual is more flexible with bigger tires and no regearing.
I've had it for 2 weeks and am now in the groove. The clutch point was way higher in the pedal than I was used to and the connection is narrower.
I've had farm trucks manuals, sport car manuals, and sedan autos.
