Manual windows, why cant they stay up?
Roll the window up tight. Take the crank off, put it back on with the handle facing down.. Sometimes when they come from the factory the handle is in the wrong position, daily driving and bouncing causes the window to move..
When I was tinting my windows today, I couldn't help notice that when the window was part way down, the window would really rock in the channel back and forth. Really a poor/ill fitted design for such a square window.
Might have some regulator slop in them. I used to see it some on the crank window Silverado's when I worked for GM.
Could also be window channel problems. I know that those 2 little pieces of rubber at the bottom of the window don't look like much other than weather seal but they have a lot to do with keeping tension on the window as well. If they are spread too far apart and not making good contact with the glass that could always be a possibility as well.
Take it to the dealer and let them figure it out because it's definitely not normal. Good luck!

The driver door / knee interference bugs me. I just found out that the handles are indeed just pushed into place and use the old C shaped spring clip to hold them on.
Your solution is the best but on the driver one I'm going to rotate it enough to be out of the way but on the side that gravity will be trying to lift and not lower the glass.
