Maybe a dumb question.
Just came home after a 1.5 hour car ride (only 30 miles, love the va traffic, rush hour is NOT the best time from Tunnel Cleaning fellas!!!)
When I stopped at 7-11 to get gas, I came out and there was a pool of liquid under the jeep, just pooling up dripping fast. I go inspect, and it's plain water. I did not have the air conditioner on- in fact, I never do. I know I have Coolant mixed with water, and the leak looks to be coming from halfway back on the transmission (6 spd). It is probably dripping onto that from above. No temp problems, no dummy lights.
Now, the defroster was on from this morning, and set to 3/4 heat, low fan setting. Would there be condensation from the defroster without the AC running? Thanks!!

If the defroster is on then the a/c is on. It is hard wired to to do that so that the a/c will dry out the air being blown on the window and help prevent interior condensation. Bottom line is your a/c was on, you just didnt realize it.
