Default Metric Fuel Efficiency Poll!

My wife and I drove from Montreal to Burlington an back on the week-end (for the Beerfest). I took the occasion to top-off the tank before and after to get an accurate fuel efficiency reading. With around 60+ mins of traffic (the wait at the border is crazy!), we averaged about 14.5L/100km. I was hoping for a little bit better (like 12-14L/100km), but I disconnected my battery shortly before leaving (resetting the ECU), so maybe it'll get better as the computer re-learns.

What have you guys been getting? Anyone doing 12L/100km or better?

I'm averaging between 12.7 lowest to 13.7 highest on my unlimited. Mind you most of this is stop and go in town, with no highway driving for longer than 15minutes. I've never checked while wheeling, but i can only imagine how bad it gets, haha.

13L/100km (aka 18 mpg) in town is very good.

Google works for me. Try asking:

"13L/100km in mpg"

or

"18 mpg in L/100km"

You need to specify tapped or untapped keg! you can't use a tapped keg as a constant because it is really a variable and would therefore skew your figures. I found

Monthly volume of Moose droppings
Thickness of ice in Yellow Knife at noon on Feb 14th

to work real well!

See now? This is why i love this forum... I would never have known that formula derivitive.

There is such a thing as an untapped keg?
That is like one of those philosophy questions isnt it?
