Default Michigan/Detroit area wheelers?

Hey guys i have had my jeep for about a year and looking for a place to wheeling in michigan/detroit area. If someone happens to live here, more specifically the Macomb County area. So, where do us Michiganders wheel? Need excuses for my girlfriend that my jeep is lacking mods!

There are a couple off road parks in eastern MI. You should be pretty close to one. I can't recall the names, but I'm sure if you google off road parks, it will come up. There's always Drummond, but that's a bit of a hike for you. Rausch in PA is worth the drive if you spend the weekend (must have two vehicles in your group).

Hey man, the closest to us is the mounds, I think it's in flint but haven't been there. Then there is silver lake sand dunes and rocks and valleys off road park, I've only been a couple times. Rocks and valleys is sweet it's in Harrison mi. Not Harrison township. The dunes are out west probably 2 to 3 hour drive. Bundy hill in Jackson mi, have not been there yet. That's all I know about,I will be lifting my jeep next weekend, can't wait to hit a park.

Thx guys. Going to hit silver lake with my buddy this summer. Everyone in Michigan knows of silver lake and it should e fun. I cant justify building my jeep without off roading it a little. It annihilates deep snow and stupid muddy corn fields stock as is. Just need a reason haha.

Yup I live in the same area as you, there are quite a few places with in a good drive of us, rock and valley is about 2 hours away with traffic. Mt Morris is 40 min away. Bundy hill is about an 1:30 away from us. Drumming island is 8 hours. Badlands is about 4:5 hours. Twisted trail is about 2:20 min. Sliver lake sand dunes is about 3 hours.

If u ever need anyone to go wheeling with send me a pm, I try to do a trial ride at least once a month if not more
