So I did search the forum, found 3 posts referencing this error, but none with any true cause or resolution mentioned. Stopped to get coffee this morning, came back to the Jeep, pushed the clutch, turned the key and oddly, my windshield wipers started running, but the car didn't start. Not a single light on the dash, nothing. Thought it might have been the clutch sensor, so I put it in 4Lo, no dice, just the wipers. Put it back in 2Hi, tried again, nothing. Then I tried both the clutch and the brake pedal and it started. I have to assume the brake was just a coincidence though. Within a few seconds the check engine light came one. Got to work, stopped the car, tried to restart it and it worked fine. Stopped again, checked the code and got U0141. Looking it up, you get the vague "Lost connection with front control module A"
Now I could take it to the dealer, but is that just going to be a waste of time for both of us as it may just be some odd computer glitch?
