Default Minor problem with XHD snorkel install

Just a heads up if you are planning to install this snorkel. They failed to provide long enough screws to secure the snorkel base to the cowling. The screws just touch the nut plate, they should be at least 1/2 inch longer. Also missing are the two screws that hold the name plate to the high mount. Minor issues but it will slow down the install process, for the money everything should be there.

Both of the bags that contained the screws were open when I got them. ????

Probably a return and not everything was there because of the previous buyer.

I e-mailed Rugged Ridge. They said they were sorry for the problem and would have their QC department check a little harder. They said they would send me the wrong/missing items.

Has anyone had any issues getting the snorkel body to line up with the Z bracket? The holes are off by over an inch. I had no issues with alignment when I installed the same snorkel on my 2008. But I can't get them to line up on my 2013. It appears that the upper pinch seam (?) is stopping the snorkel body from moving back towards the windshield.

I tried that but it made it worse. I was eventually able to put enough pressure on it to get it in place.
