Default Mirror extensions for towing

Anyone towing anything wider than than the JK and using mirror extensions? Heck, almost everything's wider than the JK.

I've been using a clip-on mirror, but the plastic broke (cheap mirror for sure). Any good extended mirrors worth considering or should I stick to the cheapos?

Thanks in advance!

Based upon my long experience with mirror extensions on my pickup, I would spring for the more expensive slide out mirrors. I switched to these OEM replacements several campers ago and in the long run they represent the best value even at a couple hundred dollar premium. Longevity, comfort, and safety (not necessarily in that order) are real benefits. Now I too am looking for quality sliders for my JK also! Have you found any?

Haven't found any sliders that fit. I agree it would be ideal - slide them out for towing, pull them in for the trail.

Since I haven't found anyone making them for the Wrangler, I was hoping someone knew of a "mirror mounting compatibility index" that might show other vehicles that have the same mounting system as the JK. I can't believe Chrysler would make a one-off mounting system, but I suppose anything is possible.
