Mopar Remote Start
I purchased a Mopar remote start from a dealership for my 2 door 08 X. Everything has been installed and usually works great.
Since it came with no directions I get confused as to how it is supposed to work sometimes. All i know about it is that you hit the button twice and then the jeep honks twice and it starts.
Sometimes, however, because the antenna is not that great, it misses one of the key hits. If that happens it will only honk once, but then I can get it to start unless I wait some interval of time I have not figured out yet.
Any reference links for the remote start? Any way to get it to start if I get in that situation?

Hmm . . .
Well, didn't think of that. Didn't come with the Jeep so it never crossed my mind. I'll give it a look, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about in the meantime . . .

Yes, it does. It gave me some insight as to what might be going on, but I am not convinced that any of the criteria are being met for the Jeep to be canceling the remote start.
It did explain as to why I have to manually start it when it does fail though.
Thanks for some guidance though.
