Default My 3.6 sounds like a crd :(

So I have a 2012 rubicon with 17,000 miles with the clutch out sitting it rattles out of the trans and I can rev it and it gets louder with clutch in there in no noise. Took it to Golling and they hear the noise and say its normal uhh.

Not so much "normal" as common.... There are a few threads on this floating around here on the forum.

To my understanding, it is considered a "wearable" part like a clutch. Don't know if warranty would cover it or not. I have yet to take mine to the dealer to find out.

It's normal, I had a 13 sahara unlimited and now a 13 rubicon and they both did it. I work for a dealership and had my service manager check it. It's the nature of the beast, it doesn't hurt anything. Some do it and some don't.
