I have had it almost a year now with 42,000 miles and I go wheelin almost every weekend and it has many many trips to moab on it but it is still quite. But I will admit when I get back from wheelin it gets babied but when I hit the trails it is all or nothin.

I am sure you are right but those noises bug me like crazy so if one comes up I find it and fix it quick.

My JK is pretty quite but the YJ I had made all sorts a noises. Like mentioned before, I could have made a Jeep Noise CD. I had whistles, creaks, ticking, clicking, squeaking, and many others. Man I liked that old thing, I can't believe how quite the soft tops are now. I couldn't turn the radio up loud enough to drown out the soft top flapping, it was great on dates wasn't even worth trying to talk to them.

It's all relative to your experience with Jeeps. This is my 6th and BY FAR the quietest Jeep I've ever seen. Compared to all the others I've had - it is silent.

Yup, I loved it in my old YJ. it was so noisy there was no way to talk to them and there was no awkward silence.

Haha, there is no silence for me, in either of my cars. The jeep is louder than anything, lol. I swear that exhaust is inside the jeep with me. And my car for some reason when I get bored I start accelerating, which is usually followed my "OH MY GOD SLOW DOWN!!!". It's amazing that with enough horsepower you can turn atheists in christians, at least until you hit the pedal in middle, then you hit the windshield, that car can stop faster than it can lock the seatbelt, lol.
