Default My tire jack storage is now a swimming pool!

Today I went to get something out of the back storage and noticed that the tire jack storage area was full of water! Has this happened to anyone else?

I guess I should have searched first.

I can't find anyone who has posted a solution though.

Mine has a drain, but I don't think it has ever seen a drop of water. I have been one of the fortunate ones with no soft top leakage.

I have a leak in the same spot, the right hand corner where the gate meets the window, I first noticed drips on the sub, I didn't even think to check the jack...

I'll expland on TEXASJK...if you pull out the jack and accessories, you'll find the drain plug for that area...pull it and you can resolve the pool. I can't help you with the cause of the pool, though.

I left the top off and got this effect. I stuck a small hole in the carpet over the drain plug in the cubby hole otherwise it won't drain right. As far as the jack well...just man handle the jack out and pull the plug.

Did you relatch the velcro flap on the back of the rear window the last time you took the back window off? Maybe that can cause the pooling

And I never had a problem taking the jack out. There's no need to manhandle it! Just lower the jack a little by unscrewing it before you take it out, and it should just come right out!

Well I think I pinpointed where the water is dripping from. I just have to figure out why. I'll post a pic tomorrow of the exact location and maybe you guys have some ideas.
