Default Mystery hose help (Pics included)

Happy Sunday everyone~ I looked in the rear passenger side wheel well and saw the following hose not connected to anything. The other end was connected to the rear axle, so I assume it is the vacuum hose for the rear locker. I've looked everywhere (on my Jeep AND online forums) to see where the loose end fits in, with no luck. I'm hoping that the trail didn't eat where the hose was originally supposed to go. Can anyone help me find where this hose inserts ? Did something get ripped off while I was wheeling ? Any help appreciated.

I think that's the rear axle vent line, you should have one on you front axle as well.

It's the breather tube for the axle. The white clip probably pushes onto a stud in the wheel well, but the hose doesn't attach to anything.

Zip tie it up, but leave some room for articulation.

Breather hose, don't let it get submerged.

Should be a little clip that holds it in place above frame.

Thanks everyone... I figured I probably didn't want to get water in it from the location of the one in front--located WAY up top- so now I'm trying to find where the rear one originally went. I do so much wheeling that all the obvious places don't make sense if you're trying to keep the water out. It has a metal clip on the hose and a white plastic clip (that looks like it broke an inner spline-probably when it came off)...nothing on the wheel well, and there's so much dried mud I can't tell where the metal clip originally went. I can hose the mud off, but no guarantee there will be any indication of where it originally went. Anyone have a pic of one in place ? Thanks !!! ~D

No problem bud. Glad you got it sorted out. Those hoses have a tendency to pop out. My buddy's just came loose off the axle end the other day.
