That doesn't look like anything off the '08 interior, too me at least. Mine's an '08. The ridges on that piece don't fit with any of the styling I can see in mine. My guess is it's some piece of trash left over from the previous owner or the dealership.

Thanks for the help on identifying the part. I'm going to just put it away in the basement in case I ever find something missing.

On the topic of the diffs/gearing. Since I do not have posi and may need a regearing anyway for larger tires what parts would be necessary to get me posi (or would it be better to just put lockers in if possible?) and should I look at 4.10, 3.73, etc. I'm thinking around 33x12.50's for tires.

i thought saharas came with post standard?

and i notice there is like an H cut into that piece, does it flex in any way, or bend?

that's the lid you have to remove to fill up the blinker fluid.
