Default Mystery won't start - 2018 CPO JK

For those of you who saw my mystery coolant leak thread, it ended with hand on my forehead for a whole new reason. I went to the dealer to pick up my free reservoir bottle and hose. When I came out my Jeep would not start. That sucked, but since I am only 5 days into my CPO warranty, what a great place for it to fail! I walked back in and took a tech out to confirm the problem. He tried to start it. dead, nothing. We closed the doors and tried the remote start on the fob. two beeps from the horn and..... nothing. He got back in and I told him that the Jeep had been in the shop for this problem with the previous owner. They replaced the crank sensor as a guess, and after two more trips back into their shop they left the ticket open with no ideas.

I told the tech that I has heard it could be the transmission range sensor. We did the trick of taking it out of park, down to drive and back to neutral.. nothing. We talked for one or two minutes, and then he placed the Jeep back into park and let it roll back to a stop onto the drivetrain. One more last ditch attempt and -- Bingo! she starts right up. I am really thinking the range sensor could be it. I am calling Chrysler to find out how the CPO warranty works for something like this. I am also calling the NTSB.

My JK saga continues...

Sounds like some sort of bad or loose connection or failed sensor, switch, etc.
