Default Need help-Door locks and wishield washer not working

I am having two issues that both came on at the same time.

My door locks, both from the key fob and on the doors inside, are not working and my windhsield washer fluid will not spray. I filled the fluid last night and the canister is still full, there is not a crack in it.

I thought that maybe the battery in the key fob was bad, but the remote start will work. I thought the doors had to be locked for the remote start to work but the vehicle is starting without them locking.

I checked the connections of the quick release, like when I take my doors off, and they are both securely conntected.

Any thoughts or ideas on this?

Your washer fluid could be frozen, either in the reservoir or in the line. Especially if you use that nasty blue shit. Get yourself some good non-freeze washer fluid. I prefer the orange Rain-X stuff myself. I don't have a "for sure" answer about the door locks; sorry. If I had to guess, I'd say it has something to do with the cold weather as well...?? Good luck.

My lines are not frozen for the washer fluid. I check it today. When I hit unlock or lock on my remote the interior lights come on and the Jeep acts as if it is locked (i.e. the alarm sets) but the doors don't lock or unlock.

It is almost acting like it is on the remote start except for the fact that I can move the shifter and drive the vehicle.

I assume you've tried the obvious first and checked your fuses. I only ask because I often overlook the super obvious first step until I've completely disassembled and reassembled something.

Default Any Solution

Just wanted to see if you ever found a solution for this issue. My 2011 JK Unlimited just started doing the same thing last week. Washer fluid stopped working and doors will not lock with the FOB or the switch. alarm will set and unlock fine. thanks,
Ben
