need help putting on soft top rear quarter windows correctly

I just installed a Harken Hoist and stored up the hard top for summer. I got the MOPAR soft top on, but I had and still am having some issues, especially with the rear quarter windows.
This thread has been very helpful and I managed to get one side window on (had some issues with how to properly install it). The window that is giving me the most problems is so damn tight, that I cannot zip it fully and the top of the retainer keeps popping out. Is it maybe because it is brand new and has been in the 60's here in Montana? Any suggestions?

The temp does affect the top and windows' pliability, but warmer weather makes them more supple not less.
