Default Need help removing doors.

2013 jeep wrangler jk. I removed all 4 doors last year with no problem. This year is a different story. I was only able to take out 1 of the doors. The other doors are not coming out. I know I am not suppose to WD them but I did anyways. Still no luck. I have already taken out the bolts fr the bottom. HELP

If the bottom is taken out already, nothing left to hold them in. All you can do is swing the door open and closed as you lift up on it.

Sent from somewhere I really shouldn't be!

Sometimes it just takes a little extra & they will come off. I've had to use the palm if my hand & it up in the window frame & got mine to come out. Have someone else help so you don't drop them.

Had the same problem this year. Friend of mine came to help. He used a crow bar for leverage and put a piece of wood between the bar and the bottom of the door so as not to mess up the door. Took a whole 5 minutes for all 4 doors.

After you get them off slap some grease on the hinge to make it easier next time.

Use hi-low jack with a block of wood to protect the door. One crank and it should come loose. Just did this with sons TJ. Use a cloth for additional protection. Them use white grease to protect.

3 foot piece of 2x4 pry up from the tub to the door works every time then clean the hinge holes with a brush and then lube as mentioned above always clean the hole before you reinstall the doors

Replace the hinge bushings with Delrin bushings. You will be happy about it for the rest of the time you own the JK.

Search the forum for Delrin. Lots of info on the subject.
