Need quick help about my tops
I have a 2010 sahara that has installed the oem soft top. This weekend ill be traveling approx 10 hrs to purchase a 2010 hardtop.
I know ill have to take spft top off to get the hard one on, but does anyone know if ALL of the soft top hardware has to come off completely in order for the hard top to go on? Tis sounds pansy of me but i dont wanna ride 10 hours with no top at all in florida sun, i am a night shift person, i hate the sun!
How long does it take to remove the soft top completely from a 4d 2010?

you will take off the door surrounds and the two pieces that hold the cross bar (for the rear window) but then can actually leave the soft top on temporarily for the drive home.
That is the way the dual tops come from the factory. Otherwise, where would you put the soft top for the ride home?
I'm talking from a 2 door perspective, maybe others will chime in....

Once you take the top down, it is only a matter of four torx bolts to take it completely off. Just take it off when you get there, fold down your back seats and toss it in there before you put the hard top on. 10 minutes MAX!
