New JK owner....first post
Good day all,
Sold my TJ and picked up an 08 JK. It was a one owner and they took wonderful care of it. It has a few issues though I'm trying to get resolved, and am hoping for some advice. It has an AEV front bumper and a winch. It is a stock Sahara Unlimited. It bottoms out in the front at any decent bump in the road. I'm thinking I need to replace the front coil springs with heavier springs (like for a Rubicon). I'd like to keep the stock height because it drives really good....other than that stated problem. Again, I appreciate any suggestions.
Have a Blessed weekend.

Welcome Will. I had to look up El Campo. that is one piece of Texas nothing has taken me to yet.
I'd suggest that if you are bottoming out, you could likely have some worn shocks. the springs are just holding the body up whereas the shocks are preventing the excessive movement. think about if you pull shocks out and the jeep is just sitting there....and then you give it a little push down under some weight.....and it will just bounce and bounce a bit. Not saying springs couldn't be tired, but I'd be looking at the shocks first.
