The factory GY KM (32") tires were at 42 psi when I drove off the dealer's lot. Label in the jeep says 37 psi. I always ran around 30 psi for the 33 MT/Rs on my old TJ, but when I dropped these down to 30 the TPMS light stays on.

What's the right number for street driving?

The right number is what the sticker on the door says, this number is optimal for tire wear, fuel economy and ride for your vehicle weight, and tire and rim combination.

I as shocked to see 37s on mine when I got it, but when I checked the door sticker thats what it said.

32 psi is what I recommend. Here is a link that will also answer a lot of questions for you as well.... No being sarcastic, just passing on a good link with awesome info...

Yeah I read the newbie faq but I got the TPMS light right away after 100 ft. I don't even remember hearing mine ding at all but the stupid light does stay on. So that 37 on the door jamb is bogus even for the factory tires?

Sorry, the light came on when I dropped to 30 (like I used to run in the TJ).

It's going to stay on and ding when you turn the key. Either push the button just under the screen or let the ding stop on it's own. I don't even pay attention to the light anymore and it's not going to effect your computer in any way...
