This past week I purchased a 2013. I believe it was repoed from the original owner and later sold at action to the dealer I purchased it from.

Because it was repoed the dealer only has one of the grey transponder keys. I figured it did not have an alarm system/keyless entry on it since it is a sport. however after locking the doors with the auto lock button from the inside when I returned the alarm started going off.

All in all my question is can the dealership make a key fob with the keyless entry for my Jeep with only the Jeep and one gray transponder key????????





I had a similar problem when i purchased my rubicon. I only had 1 key, but it was one of the alarm fob keys.

A dealer will fix it but it's probly gonna cost a lot.....

 

The dealer can set you up with new keys, but expect to pay several hundred dollars for a couple remote fob keys plus the programming.

Was the key situation specifically spelled out in the contract? If not, see if you can make them provide you with two working keys, or at least get them to you at cost or something.
