Finally got to installing my body lift tonight and I just noticed a little change for the 09's. the plastic fasteners on top of the grill no longer have the cross on top nor are they the screw type. They are simply a straight pull out with nothces to get a small falt head screw driver in to pry up. Owned the jeep for a while and never noticed this before. I know that the fasteners on stock bumper are still the old style though. Glad they got rid off the ones they did.

 

the 08 has the same as the 09 for the grill. My 07 has the PITA phillips type.

 

My 08 has the same slotted ones. MUCH easier than the POS's on the air dam

 

I just used a small screw, once it starts going in, use a plier and pull it out..
