Unbolt the stem from the outside and the rest of it falls to the inside of the tire. Look at a diagram for replacement TPMS parts and you'll see.

not all after market rims accept the tpms. Check with the rim maker first. You can also get an AEV procal and do away with the need for the tpms all together.

I'm curious, could you point me in the direction of wheels that do not accept the sensors? I've got the superchips, so the sensors aren't an issue.

I think if you don't want to use sensors then any rims on the market would work for you. I do not know for sure what rims do not accept them just that on one of the jeep forums someone said that what ever rims they bought would not accept factory wrangler sensors, I do not remember what rims they were tho.

I'm curious exactly what wheels don't accept the sensors, that's all. There seems to be the cloud of confusion that the sensors can't be used with aftermarket wheels yet nobody can shed light on which ones or why. I've pulled the sensors out of the wheels and see no reason why they wouldn't work with any wheel.

The Schrader rubber snap-in valve stems usually fit either 0.453 or 0.625 in diameter rim holes.

I can't remember which size the stock jk rims are.
