Default Newbie Gearing ??

so i have a 08 2 dr. x with the "S"package....how would i know if i have 3.21, 3.73, or 4.10 gear ratios....i've searched and searched for the answer to this ? but could not find an answer.......sorry if this has already been posted..........thanks in advance

hmmm most likely 3.73's . It should say on your window sticker that was there when you bought it. You can visit jeeps website give them your vin # and they will send you a build sheet on your jeep. Several others have did it on here.

Incorrect...

The '07 X could be ordered with 4.10s with or without the tow package.

Not that this helps this person, but if someone with an '07 X reads this I don’t want them to be confused.

To be 100% for, you could raise your rear wheels and rotate your axle. If it takes . . . are you ready for it; 3.21 turns to turn the tire 1 complete rotation, you guessed it, you have 3.21, and obviously the same with any other ratio.

Yes, but if you raise both rear tires, they must both rotate one turn together.
If you raise just one rear tire, the tire must rotate two turns.
This is assuming an open differential.
