Does any body know if the switch to turn on back up lights is inside the console next to the shifter or down on the gear box. They just stopped working fuse and bulbs are all good. 08 6spd.

I can't get at my shop manual right now since I can't work with a broken foot so I can't say 100% where the switch is. It is either on the tranny as a seperate switch that is made when in reverse or it is part of the transmission position sensor if it is an auto most likely. Hopefully someone on here that has the manual on CD will see this post and verify.
When did it quit working? You might look under there and see if any wires were caught on something and jerked out of a connector if this happened after doing some off roading.

 

Looks like i may have to do this the hard way.

Found it. Drivers side off gear box up high near where the shifter attaches. Held on with one bolt. Cheap $20 part.
