Default no seat height adjustment, 2014 JKU

My 2014 JKU has no height adjustment mechanism(s) for the front seats. It was ordered by someone who ran a rural mail route, which may or may not explain why there is no front seat height adjustment capability. Can I just get the OE adjuster mechanisms and handles...or am I looking at something aftermarket? And really...I might be best suited just finding a set of good used seats with the adjusters - probably be lots spendy than sourcing the OE adjusters...

There is this gizmo, which doesn't seem to have any immediately apparent function - it has what look to be OE wiring going to it and nomenclature on it...maybe for the weight sensors or something, but definitely not for adjusting height.

The JK’s do not have a height adjustment. I’m not aware of any aftermarket height adjustment either.

Anytime you see a yellow electrical plug, that means that harness is for the airbag system.

well...the drivers seat in my wife's 08 JKU has a manual hand crank for height adjustment, so apparently it's an option. I'm scouring the FB ads for a d-side seat with the mechanism...

And that’s for height and not lumbar? Maybe I’m mistaken that my seat (15 JKU) has height adjustment and not lumbar?

yep for height - crank up and the seat raises up, crank down and it lowers. I think the lumbar is a rotary dial on the side in front of the height lever, but I don't need that.

I found a guy on FB that's parting an 08 JK and has the raise/lower mechanism...I'm just baffled that my Jeep doesn't have anything. I think the reason is because it was ordered as a right-hand-drive Jeep...and I don't know if any model had a height adjuster on the passenger's side...and as such the driver's side would be 'devoid' of the mechanism same as the p-side on a LHD Jeep...

Haha… interesting. I never knew that lever was for height. I’ve just assumed it was lumbar.
