Default No snow chains for Rubicon?

I just got my Rubicon which was ordered last August. Anyways, I was reading the owner's manual and was surprised to see the section on snow chains says, "Snow chains can be used on any model except for the Sahara or Rubicon models."

WFT is this? Anyways, I live in Florida, so it's not a real concern right now, but I am moving to Maine this year, so I think snow chains might be a nice thing to have. Does anyone have any clue as to why the Rubicon can't use snow chains?

Stock 08 Rubicon (not for long)
Hard top, auto start, tow package, MyGig, Etc...

My guess is due to the lockers.

Can't use 'em on the X either, unless you have the 16" wheels.

Clearance might be an issue because Sahara and Rubicon both run larger tires and/or wheels than the X

Yes, it is related to tire size.
