No start-up rattle!
FYI,
There was a thread about those with a 2-3 second rattle/knock after sitting overnight. It was on "another" forum.
Someone posted that a Motorcraft FL-910 filter fixed his, so I changed my filter again (3rd one in 2500 miles) and my first start up this morning had NO KNOCK! Apparently, all antidrain back valves are not equal!
I had a knock from day one, straight off the dealer's lot, so I'm pretty stoked!!
Hope it's gone for good!!

A bad oil filter with a weak or not working drain back valve will cause a dry start every time.
If you buy cheap oil filters you will know when you get a bad one. Listen for the dry start knock.
