Default Noisy throw out bearing =new clutch?

I took the Rubi in to the dealer to have them check out a noisy throw out bearing, they said that there is a clutch TSB so they are going to put in a whole clutch assembly.

Some how I dont think that the clutch squeek TSB will fix the throw out bearing noise.

So is the throw out bearing part of the clutch assembly

Whenever you change the clutch you should change the throwout bearing. It is a relatively inexpensive part and you are in there already.

Just picked up my 08 unlim rubi from the dealer. Here are the new parts they installed/replaced:
- 53008342 BEARING C
- 53009181-AB BEARING P
- 52104732-AB CLTCH KIT
- 4891685-AA DETECTOR
Driving it home from the dealer it felt really smooth. I had to relearn how to drive stick shift again.
With this new clutch, I am able to chirp the tires a bit on take off. Only bad thing that I noticed
was the smell. I hope it's just the new clutch breaking in, I dunno.

Well I got the new clutch but not a new throw out bearing. The service writer was not happy when I asked him what they did because he expected that the tech would have done the clutch TSB and the throwout bearing TSB. He was mad at the tech. So I told him no problem if it makes the noise again they will know what to do. He said my time is should not be wasted.

Looks like I got a keeper service writer so far.
