i agree on the hankooks! I just bought a set of them a couple months ago and loved them (had to take them off when i bought my new jeep a couple weeks ago). Prior to them i had the Firestone Destination A/T and the Hankooks were much better in my opinion.

I am seeing a lot of falken tires on trucks and suv's in my area. They look like a good tire. I have been happy with firestone destination and bridgestone duelers too. Hate bfg at's.

Goodyear Assurance, Duratracs

My advice with him, and what I think he would want, was the Firestone's or Silent Armors for a more aggressive than his stock Bridgestone's, good wet traction, AT tire, or the Goodyear Duratrac or BFG AT's for most aggressive AT tires.

I also gave him our JKForum direct tire vendor's website.

Thanks, for the help!
I had the firestones for about 5 months did great until I got them off road they chunked real bad even ripped a lug completely off. I pulled them and went with km2.

Cooper Discoverer CTS. Offers a 255/70/18.

Lots of pickup guys run these because they have GREAT on road manners, and although they won't get you very far through mud or grip a slick rock, they cost less than $200 a tire and will be fine for moderate trails or hauling light loads.

I have the 4 dr. stock Sahara and decided on the Silent Armors to replace the Bridgestones.
50 k warranty: http://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires/...er-silentarmor

Out of curiosity, how many mile's did he get out of the stocks ?
I currently have 22k and they look fine for at least another year.

Michelin LTX M/S. Great road manners, Mud and Snow rated, Wear like iron. They aren't the most aggresive tire but they definately wont let you down.

I've had the Firestone Destination ATs on my Pathfinder for about 4 years now (on my second set) and I love them. I also had a set on my Ford Ranger before I sold it. Great tires and I got more than 50K out of the set on my pathfinder. For the money you can't beat them.

I have more than 75000 miles on my stock oem bridgestone duelers/ '09 Sahara. Rotated them every other oil change, including the 5th wheel rotated in. I'm shopping now because the wet traction is getting tricky... even though tire rep said I could get through winter no prob.

I'm stuck getting the same since price is right at costco and tirerack but felt I wanted something a little more agressive (or at least better in snow, moving back to Canada next year...)

The Bridgestone Dueller A/T Revo is a good tire. Quiet and lasts a long time.
