Default O Rings

Okay maybe this is just stupid, but it's that time of year to go though the jeep and check everything getting it ready for the season. Now I really go though my jeep doing full service oil change checking bolts the works. So as of right now my 07 looks like it's a 09. As I was cleaning it there are two O rings on the auto trans lines going to the cooler. I doubt they are extras anyone know why they are there? If there was a thread on this I must have miss it cause I'm usually on the site everyday so if I did forgive me here!!

What do you mean there are two O rings? Where they misplaced or something?

These are green o rings that are on the lines right in front of the steering box.

Anyway its a weird place to have a set of o rings and they don't do anything. But maybe if you had a leak on the trail you could use them, if you can take the fitting apart and slide the ring down off the line. It could get you home if needed.
