Stock JK TechBulletin board forum regarding issues with OE (original equipment) components of the Jeep JK Wrangler (Rubicon, Sahara, Unlimited and X) such as factory suspension parts, engine, transmission, body parts, interior fixtures and the on-board computer.
I have a 2015 JK with 167,500 and i dont think the o2 sensors have ever been changed (I got it at 122,000). The only thing I notice is it smells like exhaust when I first start driving it. I think I know what the answer is but before I take it to the mechanic, I
wanted to see if any of you could possibly tell based on these pics if you think my o2 sensor is bad or if it is in fact my cat. I tried posting the live video but it wouldn't let me add it. I probably should have added that the code was P0420 catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1

Welcome to the forum. Your O2's, if never replaced arel beyond their designed life expectancy . I would get the Codes 1st.. Sensors are less expensive and easier to replace. CATs don't last forever either.
