I was able to set up DRL's and disable the seatbelt chime with it but digging further into the data requires more time. With the TOB job this weekend, I anticipate using the scanner to ensure everything goes back together nicely (last time I killed an o2 sensor by stretching it too far).
Getting advanced diagnostics this affordable is revolutionary. Doesn't seem like many know how valuable it is, and that it's far more than the generic codes from the key dance or the typical scanner.

But it's not available for all vehicles, and it's no thanks to FCA (unless they helped by leaking information). It really should be mandatory in the US to open-source all the diagnostics. I'll go a step further that all the DTC's and service routines should function from the dash, there's no reason other than profiting from the secrecy not to. All this secrecy works against the consumer, independent shops/techs, and the DIY folks. My hats off to the developers of these products.

Little off topic, but not sure where else it fits, here is my issue:
When driving if I hit a hard bump/swerve at interstate speeds I get a code for the abs sensor and the little jeep with swervy line comes on. It always clears after I stop and restart and appears to be triggered by the wheel going one way and the steering wheel aligned a different direction. My main is problem is when it happens I can no longer use the cruise control, is there a scan tool/app that would allow me (torque pro lite & one jscan don't see it) to clear it while driving?

Torque will allow it to clear while driving but you've got to kill the engine while it clears. I've managed to get codes cleared at stop lights and get started before the light turns again.

Wheel one direction and steering wheel the other with an ABS code sounds like you need a new thread so we can dissect the issue and get you fixed up.

I've been dealing with ABS ligth issue myself, and I find that Jscan DOES store a code for it, but you have to dig in to the ABS module to clear it. I don't throw a check engine, merely the ABS light as you're indicating. I sure wouldn't mess with it while in motion, but you should see the stored code in the ABS module of Jscan.

Kind of what I figured for clearing the code while driving. I am not seeing the code on either one of those 2 apps, for torque do I need the pro version? Or isn it because I have a cheap Bluetooth odb scanner?

Appreciate the idea of a separate thread on the light. There are multiple threads I have read and I have researched/tried all the different solutions. Not driving on California's crappy roads seem to be my best chance of not getting the light...

Two easy potential easy solutions are centering the steering wheel accurately, and cleaning the rear wheel speed sensors. As Karl mentioned, new thread with more details on your Jeep's mods and symptoms may be the ticket...

I've read recently that the OBDlink MX+ now has an OBDlink App which is suppose to read the advanced OBD codes. If OBDLink MX+ can read advanced codes as well as supports other 3rd party apps, this is starting to sound like a really good option. Anyone try the OBDlink App? Is the App free?
Does it allow you to use it on multiple vehicles like BlueDriver?

It's currently $70 on Amazon.

This kind of sounds like the steering wheel clock spring issue. What year JK, and have you brought it in to have the clock spring recall work done?

Yes, I have the app. It's called OBDwiz, it's free and works on multiple vehicles with OBDlink, but it takes an add-on for enhanced manufacturer codes -- Which is not available for Jeep/FCA.
FCA has apparently been better at keeping secrets and/or is a lot more difficult to implement. It takes one of the other apps mentioned earlier for FCA.

Note this line in the Amazon.com link: " Unlimited FREE OEM data upgrades for Ford, GM, Mazda, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota/Lexus/Scion vehicles. "

2012 Rubicon. I don't believe it falls under the clock spring recall.
