Default Odd P0455 code again.... Any ideas?

Hellllllo,

So long story short my check engine light goes on when at half tank with that p0455 code. Replaced the gas cap and now it says "gas cap" on my indicator screen.. I've been dealing with this code for a month now. Disconnect the battery and it will just come on at half tank. This gas cap code just came on this morning and never seen it before(just put it on Friday) and it's at a quarter tank. I tried taking it off and putting it back on but still there... Any ideas? So annoying and frustrating lol

Have you looked for the evap line being melted on top of the engine?
Also check all the lines to the evap purge valve for being disconnected.

Have you looked underneath the Jeep to make sure the canister and connections, and fill pipe connections are OK?

Crawl under and check your evap canister. When I got this code it was cuz I put a big ole hole in that sucker. It's a black plastic box not too far back from the engine. It should be near the exhaust pipe. Sorry for the vague location but I've been jeepless for a while.
