Currently it has Firestone Destination A/T's on it from the previous owner and im looking at replacing them with...

Bridgstone Dueler A/T REVO 2
BFGoodwrich Rugged Terrain T/A
Nitto Terra Grappler AT

As far as a lift is concerned i assume a 2" lift would suffice?

I also want to keep this as close to a daily driver as possible with the occasional off road experience.

Bone stock is very capable.

Disconnect.
Air Down. I would take my old stock tires down to 14-15 lbs.
Kick it into 4L when 2H doesn't cut it any more.

I find 4H useless offroad with an automatic... heats up the tranny too much.

To do everything on that trail all I would need is a small lift. Possibly even the TF performance leveling kit or a 2" BB and some tires that are bigger with a better tread pattern.. probably just 33s. But for now I like just having fun stock. Because its cheaper!
Whats the difference between a leveling kit and a lift?

I have seen that the JKS ones are nice. If I remember right they are about $100 at Northridge.. Not too bad

I guess the person before me got the towing package which upgrades it to the 4:10s which i dont understand what the benefit is, i just see that people wish they had them.

I assume by using sway bar disconnects that allows me more flex to keep more tire on the ground?

A leveling kit is just a small budget boost (spacers on top of the coils) Usually 1-1.5". It lifts the Jeep a little but it also levels the front to the rear, which is good for heavy bumpers and winches. A lift kit can be a budget boost (up to about 2-2.5") or replace the coils. The pricing from low to high is leveling kit, budget boost, coil lift.

Someone with more experience is welcome to correct me or elaborate but I think that is about right.

JKS Quicker Discos. Solidly built and pretty easy to remove and install.

Does either one change the way it performs as a daily driver?
