Default Oil change

2013 jku with 30000 miles. Used up all of my dealer oil changes. Looking to see what type of filters and oil everyone is using.

Oil and filter every 25K or 1 year, whichever comes first. I fall into the once a year schedule.

Here is the problem. I believe that am soil with last that long. But the problem is that oil is also used to trap contamination from the combustion process. You want that pitting your cylinders for a year or 25k miles. Just saying

Once a year/ 25,000 miles sounds sketchy. I use Royal Purple 5w30 and a Wix filter every 3,000 miles.
