Default Oil Change Indicator

I have 13,000 miles on mine and the oil change indicator is flashing on the dash and everytime i stop it chimes to remind me of it. Is there a way to reset it or do i have to take it to the dealer? I read the manual and could not find anything on this. Thanks for your help.

To reset the oil change indicator system (after performing the scheduled maintenance) refer to the following procedure.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Do not start the engine).
2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three times within 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.

Hey thanks, I just went out and did that and it worked. Where did you find that information?

Do you also know how to get the doors to unlock when turning off the key?

Sure, no problem.

It's in the Owners Manual in the "Understanding Your Instrument Panel" Section:, under "Change Oil Message". There’s a PDF version of the manual on-line at jeep.com - makes searching easy!

My doors automatically unlock when I open the door. I don't think they unlock when you just turn off the key.
