Default Oil change minder reset

Just changed my oil... First time I've done it myself. Quick question about resetting the oil change minder system.

I turn the key to the on position, second click, and waited for the chimes to finish. Then I pressed the gas pedal quickly to the floor 5 times. I did not hear an confirming chime as I have seen in some YouTube videos. Did it take? BTW my minder light was not on, so I do not have confirmation by the light simply turning off.

It doesn't make any kind of ding or notification or anything, at lest mine doesn't. So I unusually do it a few times just to make sure.

Unless they changed it it is press the gas three times in my 2013.

Happy Jeeping!

I did once with three presses and once with 5. Glad to hear another '13 has no ding. Thanks!

I had the change oil light notification for the past 2 days chiming in 3 times of so everytime i was starting the engine, so i changed the oil today, and looked how to reset the reminder (I don't have the manual) in Youtube. Did the procedure as indicated in the video turning the key to on, waited until the last chime went on, pressed the gas 3 times after that, and i didn't get $hit for a confirmation, i just cranked her up either way, and the oil notification was gone. I have a 2013.
